China is confidently becoming one of the most important geopolitical and economic players in the world. China's ties with Ukraine are mostly discussed at the level of a trading partner, while scientific and educational mutually beneficial contacts remain in the shadows, but in vain.
Higher education in Ukraine at leading universities is quite effective and competitive. China needs not only highly specialized specialists who are able to solve specific problems, but also fundamentally trained people who are well aware of such basic sciences as physics, chemistry, biotechnology, higher mathematics, and can easily reorient themselves in a rapidly changing world. Our universities can and can train such specialists.
For the second year in a row, the best lecturers from NUBiP of Ukraine are sent to China to give lectures and conduct practical classes. Doctor of philosophy, associate professor Mykola Stanislavovych NIKOLAENKO was delegated from the faculty of food technologies and quality management of agricultural products to teach the disciplines «Food biochemistry» and «Food chemistry». This business trip was another step in strengthening international academic cooperation between NUBiP of Ukraine and educational institutions of the people's Republic of China, and also contributes to the popularization of the Ukrainian Scientific School abroad.

Mykola Stanislavovych shared his impressions of a business trip to the people's Republic of China: — «The visit to the people's Republic of China is a thrilling and a little exciting stage at the same time. You can immediately feel the contrast in culture and lifestyle, which adds a sense of novelty and discovery.
Linyi Innovation city, with a population of about 11 million people, is the largest city in Shandong province in terms of population and area, and has picturesque natural landscapes that combine mountains, rivers and wooded areas. Linyi's only university has 46,000 students.
This is a great chance to expand your horizons, gain new experience in another country, improve your knowledge of a foreign language and get acquainted with other educational systems.»

As a lecturer of the faculty of food technologies and quality management of agricultural products, it is impossible not to mention an interesting aspect — nutrition.
Food is very popular in China. Perhaps the first thing we associate with Chinese cuisine is rice. They use rice to make dan, a dry, crumbly porridge, and damizhou, a liquid porridge that the Chinese eat for breakfast. Many Chinese dishes include soy oil, soy milk, and soy cheese. There are hundreds of recipes for fresh, pickled, dried soy cheese. They love the dark brown liquid sauce and the thin, salty soy bean paste. Cereals are the main source of protein in Chinese food. Beans replace meat, the consumption of which is very limited. Pork is widely used from meat, but beef and lamb are used less often.

The main thing in Chinese cuisine is sauces, exotic combinations of tastes and aromas. In China, there are many of them and they make dishes elegant and unique. There are not many unusual and unconventional dishes here, and they are made mainly to surprise tourists.
The combination of existing scientific potentials, academic and university science opportunities of the two countries and joint training of future specialists is an important vector of sustainable development and cultural heritage.

Thanks to the joint efforts of China and Ukraine, students and lecturers of the two countries had the opportunity to be at the forefront of the modern world educational reality. This unites and strengthens the scientific and pedagogical community of the two countries on the basis of the values of solidarity, commonwealth, cooperation and co-creation.
The famous Chinese wisdom says, «Yesterday has passed, tomorrow has not yet come, there is only today, let's act.» The future begins today, right now. Let's create our future together, and NUBiP of Ukraine is once again doing a good job and providing high-quality education.
