Coordinated to the Finish Line: Meeting of Academic Advisor Hryhorii Boiko with 4th-Year Students of Group 10 on the Summer Exam Session and Semester Completion
On May 14, 2025, the academic advisor of 4th-year students, Group 10, of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at NUBiP of Ukraine, Associate Professor Hryhorii Boiko, held a final advisory meeting dedicated to organizational matters concerning the end of the spring semester and preparation for the 2024–2025 summer examination session.
“The final stretch is not a moment of decline, but the culmination of our joint efforts. A successful exam session is not only an individual achievement, but also a reflection of the group’s cohesion and maturity,” noted the advisor.
In a warm and supportive atmosphere, the advisor and students discussed key stages of semester completion — from final module submissions to admission to exams. Special attention was paid to the procedure in case of an air raid alert during an exam, issues of academic integrity, the exam schedule, credit assessments, and conditions for completing practical training.
Group leader Dariia Nikitina shared key points from the recent online meeting of the faculty dean’s office with academic group leaders, emphasizing that the exam session is not just a test of knowledge but also a test of self-organization, responsibility, and teamwork.
“The upcoming exam session is a moment when we need to focus our efforts, stay calm, act wisely and systematically. Success is not just about grades — it’s about confidence in your own knowledge,” added the advisor.
Dariia Nikitina also reminded her fellow students about the importance of timely submission of individual academic rating indicators, which impact eligibility for academic scholarships:
“Thank you to everyone who provides their rating data promptly. This is a team responsibility, and I kindly ask you not to delay, as timely submission reflects our shared result,” she emphasized.
In the informal part of the meeting, students shared their impressions of the semester, discussed expectations for their upcoming internships, and proposed ideas for future group activities.
The advisory session ended in a spirit of mutual support — an essential element of academic culture. The motto “We work in sync — we finish with confidence” found real expression that day in the collaborative actions of the advisor and the student community.
