CONTINUOUS CAREER GUIDANCE WORK OF THE DEPARTMENT OF BIOCHEMISTRY NAMED AFTER ACADEMICIAN M.F. HULOY

In order to attract new applicants to enter the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, the Gulyi Department of Biochemistry organized another career guidance event at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
On April 9, 2025, we were visited by students of the Ukrainian Medical Lyceum of the Bogomolets National Medical University, who have been attending our faculty for several years and some of the graduates have become our students.
The Head of the Department, Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Higher Education of Ukraine Viktor Tomchuk told about the Department, showed the training laboratories, lecture hall, interdepartmental educational and scientific laboratory of veterinary diagnostic research, which operates as part of the Department.
Valerii Tsvilikhovskyi, associate professor of the Hulyi Department of Biochemistry, showed the students the interdepartmental educational and scientific laboratory for veterinary diagnostic research.
Mykola Stehney, Associate Professor of the Kasyanenko Chair of Vertebrate Biomorphology, told the students about the anatomical museum and its exhibits.
Students listened with interest to the stories, asked questions and expressed their impressions of the equipment of the department, the richness of modern devices for educational and scientific work.
During the conversation, the advantages of studying at NUBiP of Ukraine were outlined, questions about the possibilities of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine for training highly qualified specialists were raised. The structure of the educational process and the knowledge that highly qualified teachers of the departments provide to students were described. The importance of priority when submitting an application by an applicant applying for a state order was also emphasized.
At the end of the speech, students asked many questions about admission to NUBiP of Ukraine, preparatory courses, subject Olympiads for applicants, living conditions in dormitories, cultural and mass circles and sports sections at the university. Future applicants were given exhaustive answers to all questions.
