The Erasmus + program offers great opportunities for students seeking to develop their professional skills, as well as to become familiar with other cultures and global trends in various fields.
Me, Bohdan SMYCHOK, the second-year student of the faculty of agricultural management of EL «International business management» of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine had the honor to become a participant in this program and go to study in France.

From January 06, 2025 I have been studying at the PURPAN University in Toulouse, which is one of the leading educational institutions in France, specializing in agronomy, ecology and business management. My semester is part of a global program that allows me to study important international business subjects such as Climate change, Biodiversity and environment, Introduction to corporate social responsibility, Better business, Commodities markets, Food resources and nutrition, and also Geopolitics and Global trade. These disciplines give me a deep understanding of current business problems and the skills needed to solve them in a global context.

Thanks to the basic knowledge I gained in NUBiP I succeeded in easy adaptation to studying abroad. The program at PURPAN allows me to significantly expand my understanding of international business, in particular taking into account the environmental and social aspects that are extremely important for the sustainable development of companies. I also master new tools that will help me become more effective in solving global business problems.

One of the biggest benefits of participating in Erasmus + program is an opportunity to work in an international environment. Cooperation and communication with students from different countries allows not only to exchange experience, but also to see new approaches to solving current problems. For example, as part of studying the climate change, I have the opportunity to compare how different countries approach this problem, and this gives me an expanded perspective on the future of global business.
In addition to academic experience, living in France helps me to develop my personal qualities. I have the opportunity to communicate with representatives of different cultures, which significantly improves my communication skills and allows me to better understand the global business context. I also get a unique experience of living abroad, which is an important stage in my personal development.
This experience of studying abroad is a big step in my professional development, and I am grateful to the faculty of agricultural management and NUBiP for the opportunity to participate in the Erasmus+program. Thanks to this program, I have managed not only to deepen my knowledge in the field of international business, but also to find new career opportunities. I am sure that the acquired skills will help me to become a successful specialist in the future, able to work in an international environment.
