Maryna Alekseeva: my semester in the Erasmus + program at Junia School University in France
This is the third year I have been studying at the faculty of agricultural management at the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine. I study management, but I'm also interested in marketing. That is why I was very happy when, thanks to the support of the university and the faculty of agricultural management, I had a great opportunity to study for a semester in France at the Junia School University in Lille under the Erasmus+ program. Here I study marketing and management in disciplines that help to expand my professional horizons and acquire new skills.
In particular, at Junia School I take courses in such disciplines as International Business Development, Digital Business, B2B Marketing, Advanced Marketing, as well as a course of study on the basics of the French language. I especially like the B2B Marketing and Digital Business courses, where we analyze the latest trends in management and marketing, work with real cases and acquire practical skills that will undoubtedly be useful in the future.
One of the most interesting parts of studying at Junia School is the opportunity to listen to lectures from professionals from different countries — Germany, Georgia, Lebanon. Instructors share their experience, talk about successes and defeats, their career path, and give practical advice on Business Development. These meetings were a great inspiration for me and helped me better understand how to build my future.
Equally important, I've met some great friends from all over the world. My group consists of students from Italy, Mexico, France, Greece, Lebanon, Morocco, and we discuss together not only studying, but also various aspects of life in our countries. This is an extremely valuable experience that helps me to develop as a person and specialist.
Thanks to Erasmus+, I not only gain knowledge, but also open up new opportunities for development, establish professional contacts that I hope will be useful in the future. The program helped me to understand what field I want to work in and what kind of specialist I envisage myself as. And this is not only an academic experience, but also an important stage in my life that opens up new horizons.
The city of Lille, where I am living now, the history of this city, culture and atmosphere inspires new ideas and help me to discover new talents. Every day here gives you something new and unique.
Every year I am more and more convinced that I made the right choice by choosing the faculty of agricultural management of NUBiP of Ukraine for training, because it is here that there are unique opportunities for students.
In general, the experience of studying at Junia School was a real impetus for me to gain new achievements. Now I can say with confidence that every step on the way to the goal is worth the effort.
