About HORIZON EUROPE programmes

The HORIZON program is the EU's key instrument for supporting research, technological development and innovation in Europe, with a significant budget and a wide range of funding streams.

HORIZON consists of several subprograms, such as HORIZON Europe, HORIZON EUROPE - Euratom, HORIZON EUROPE - EIC Accelerator, HORIZON EUROPE - ERC, HORIZON EUROPE - MSCA, etc. Each of these subprograms has its own specific goals and priorities. The total budget of the HORIZON program for 2021-2027 is more than 95 billion euros, making it one of the largest research and innovation funding programs in the world.

The HORIZON program supports a wide range of activities, including basic research, applied research, development of innovative technologies, creation of new enterprises, etc. It covers such areas as healthcare, digital technologies, energy, transportation, environment and others.

The HORIZON program is open to universities, research organizations, businesses, non-profit organizations and other stakeholders from EU member states and associated countries.
