Foreign practice of applicants of the educational program «Hotel and restaurant business»

The internship is held in accordance with the Agreement on International Cooperation, Provision and Implementation of the Internship between the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine and the Academy of Vocational Education Mercur (Slovakia). 

 

The practical training, including for the purpose of academic mobility abroad, is coordinated by the Academy's Director, Mr. Jan Bretsko, and the official partner-representative of the Academy, Ms. Alla Domysche-Medianyk.

 

Professional training and practice in one of the European-class hotels, which is focused on the implementation of the concept of a healthy lifestyle based on a combination of physical and mental health, proper nutrition, reasonable physical activity and the rejection of bad habits, will allow applicants to get acquainted and directly involved in the organization of hotel and restaurant services and the Wellness industry. The students' proficiency in English and Slovak will help them gain professional experience in communicating with consumers and colleagues, which will be their competitive advantage in the future. International mobility through internships will be one of the steps in the successful development of hard and soft skills necessary for future employment.

 

Practical training has just begun. There are two more months of inspired work ahead. We wish the students practical implementation of theoretical knowledge gained at the university, new acquaintances and unforgettable impressions!
