International Economics in Action: NUBiP Student Shares Her Experience of Studying in China

     A first-year undergraduate student of the "International Economics" educational program in the specialty 051 "Economics," Olena Mozdykova, combines education in elite universities from two parts of the world. In 2024, she enrolled in one of the best universities in Ukraine, the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, under the guidance of Ph.D. Anastasiia Hryhorivna Yatsun, as well as in China's top university, the "Chinese Harvard" – Tsinghua University. Currently, she is in a preparatory year on Hainan Island, where she is improving her proficiency in Chinese and studying mathematics in Chinese.

       Her studies in China take up the first half of the day. In the afternoon, she completes tasks on the eLearn electronic platform and participates in online classes at NUBiP Ukraine. From 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, she attends evening classes at Tsinghua University. This experience aligns with the principles of academic mobility, providing students with the opportunity to immerse themselves in diverse educational environments. Studying in the "International Economics" program is already a great choice, and combining it with international experience opens even more opportunities for professional and personal growth!

         Now, both at NUBiP and at the Chinese university where Olena Mozdykova is enrolled in the preparatory year, the examination period is underway – a crucial time to stay focused and put in maximum effort.
