NULES of Ukraine – an active participant in the TEMPUS project «QANTUS – Frame qualifications in environmental sciences in Ukrainian Universities»

NULES of Ukraine is presented at a seminar in the framework of the TEMPUS project «QANTUS – Frame qualifications in environmental sciences in Ukrainian Universities" that was held at the University of Genova, Italy and the University of Pavia, Italy.

     On May 25-28, 2015, the third training seminar took place within the Tempus project «QANTUS – Frame qualifications in environmental sciences in Ukrainian Universities» at the University of Genoa and the University of Pavia (Italy).
     NULES of Ukraine was presented by the head of the educational department, associate professor Oksana Zazymko. The event was attended by the representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, SMC «Ahroosvita», Carpathian Ecology Institute and the partner Universities of Ukraine, among them, apart from our University, there were the Odessa National Maritime Academy; Odessa State Environmental University; Lviv National Agrarian University; Belotserkivskyi National Agrarian University; Uman National University of Horticulture and Kharkiv V.N. Karazin National University.

     The seminar heard the presentations of all project participants, as well as lectures, workshops and discussions that were carried out by professors and employees of the University of Genova and Pavia (Italy) – Vincenzo Bianco, Alfredo Skvartsoni, Monica Penko, Angelo Musayo (University of Genoa) and Maria Konfalonieri and Mishella Kobelli (University of Pavia).

     The seminar participants were familiarized with the practical features of higher education in Italy in general and educational process at the University of Genoa and the University of Pavia in particular, the implementation of level education in the Universities of Italy and the system of credits accumulation. The focus was on national and sectoral qualifications frameworks, peculiarities of higher education qualifications in Italy, planning of learning outcomes in environmental sciences, peculiarities of developing the training programs and organizing the educational process in the Universities of Italy.
