On September 27, 2024, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Nataliia Vdovenko, Head of the Department of Global Economy at the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, delivered a keynote address at the plenary session of the II International Scientific and Practical Conference “Strategic Management of the Agri-Food Sector under Conditions of Economic Globalization: Safety, Innovation, Leadership”, organized by Poltava State Agrarian University.

Postgraduate students of the Department also participated in the online session. Oleg Rakitin presented a report titled: “Economic Mechanism for Ensuring the Competitiveness of the Livestock Sector in the Context of Crisis Phenomena and Bifurcation Changes.” Oleksandr Shevel contributed as a co-presenter on the topic: “Economic Approaches to the Production of Niche Products under the Application of Artificial Intelligence and Changes in the Global Dietary Regimen.” Grigoryev Dmytro, executor of the state-funded research project and postgraduate student of the Department, delivered a presentation on: “Approaches to Regulating the Agricultural Market in the Face of Food and Economic Challenges.” Additionally, members of the scientific club “Globalization and European Integration,” including Serhii Zhylyn, contributed to the discussions with a report on: “Mechanisms of State Support for Ukraine’s Agricultural Sector.”
Club members actively presented their research findings and engaged in scientific discussions, covering a wide range of issues in global and international economics.
Nataliia Vdovenko emphasized that the modern agricultural sector is at the crossroads of significant challenges and opportunities, driven by global changes in the world economy, rising demands for food security, and the rapid development of innovative technologies.
Collaborative efforts within the framework of this conference open up new horizons for cooperation, facilitate the exchange of experiences, and contribute to shaping a vision for the future development of the agricultural sector amidst the dynamic changes in the global environment.
