First-year students visited the museum of the history of NULES of Ukraine

The educational process for the applicants of higher education has been going along one month. Every day, they get to know the peculiarities of the organization of the educational process, acquire new knowledge in the relevant disciplines, get acquainted with the work of student self-government, as well as with the history of the University. So, on September 14, 2023, students of the 4th group of the 1st year of the Faculty of Agrarian Management, together with their curator Mariana Dobrivska, visited the Museum of History of NULES of Ukraine, which more than half of the century has been popularizing the rich history of our glorious university.
The director of the museum, candidate of historical sciences, Maria Polyvach, began the tour with a story about the history of the formation of agriculture on the territory of Ukraine, as well as the history of the creation, development and reorganization of the University – the flagship of agricultural education in Ukraine.
Further, the future managers had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with archival historical documents, things and unique exhibits, to understand that from now on they are a part of the history of our Alma Mater and its creators at the same time. The students were impressed by the museum's expositions, which gradually reveal the history of the formation and development of NULES of Ukraine. Stands dedicated to the Second World War, ATO, university employees, teachers, graduates and students who stood up for the defense of our State, dignity and freedom also aroused special interest among applicants of higher education.
After that, the attendees got acquainted with the period of restoration of the Holosiiv institutes, the formation of the UAGA, the signing of the first international agreements, the cultural and mass life of the students, the modern activities of the Education and Research Institutes and faculties of the NULES of Ukraine.
The curator and students express their gratitude to Maria Polyvach, director of the Museum of History of NULES of Ukraine, for an interesting and meaningful excursion, for which they gladly left a note with sincere words of thanks and wishes for the future in the Museum's Feedback Book.
