Active work on the DAAD project “Digital Modernization of Lecturing in Ukrainian Agricultural Universities” will continue in 2022

    The world's leading universities are focused on improving traditional teaching methods through the digitalization of the educational and scientific processes. The development of distance learning and the introduction of digital technologies in educational institutions have become particularly important as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. For this reason, NUBiP of Ukraine actively participated in the DAAD project “Digital Modernization of Lecturing in Ukrainian Agricultural Universities” alongside with Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences (Germany), Mykolayiv National Agrarian University and Sumy National Agrarian University.
     From December 6 to December 9, the project participants had a series of working meetings at Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences. In particular,  Prof. Dr. Barbara Schurer conducted a day-to-day training seminar on using Camtasia software to create and edit educational videos; Prof. Dr. Ralf Schlauderer discussed the importance of finding effective educational methods in modern conditions and the role of digitalization in diversification and modernization of the learning process; Prof. Dr. Sabine Homann-Wenig presented the detailed structure of the new learning platform for communication and exchange of innovative experience in the implementation of digital technologies at the universities participating in the DAAD project; Kateryna Tuzhyk dwelled on the priority tasks in the project implementation and substantiated the need for continuous professional development of teachers' skills in the field of ICT; Head of the Department of Information Systems and Technologies of Mykolayiv National Agrarian University, Associate Professor Yuriy Volosyuk presented materials on the possibilities of the H5P service for the creation, exchange and use of interactive multimedia educational content in HTML5 format.
 

        NUBiP of Ukraine was represented by Deputy Dean of the Agrobiological Faculty, Professor of the Department of Feed Production, Land Reclamation and Meteorology Vitaliy Kovalenko; Associate Professor of the Department of Administrative Management and Foreign Economic Activity Nataliya Kovalenko; Associate Professor of the Department of Statistics and Economic Analysis Tetyana Kuts; Senior Lecturer of the Department of Meat, Fish and Seafood Technology M. Nikolayenko.

 

    Work on the DAAD project “Digital Modernization of Lecturing in Ukrainian Agricultural Universities” was rewarding and successful in 2021 and will continue next year.
