Series of professional, educational and promotional events with schoolchildren

Associate Professor of the Department of Veterinary Hygiene M. A. Galaburda, together with Associate Professors of the Department of Epidemiology, Microbiology and Virology V. M. Shevchuk and O. G. Martynyuk, conducted a series of lectures with 8th grade students of Gymnasium No. 315 in Kyiv as part of the Jean Monnet project "Integration of EU One Health Policy and Principles in Ukraine" dedicated to topics of health safety when interacting with animals, including pets.

During the meeting, the main rules for safe handling of domestic animals, the risks of rabies and tuberculosis, and the role of veterinary doctors in ensuring One Health were emphasised. Students and teachers were also provided with information about the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, and an agreement on further cooperation was signed.
