Meeting of the Council of the Association for European Life Science Universities (ICA)

     On September 2, 2021, a regular meeting of the Council of the Association for European Life Science Universities (ICA) took place online.

    The meeting was held on the eve of the annual ICA's Rectors and Deans Forum, which traditionally takes place in the second half of October. This time, the forum will be held offline at the Faculty of Bioscience Engineering, KU Leuven, Belgium on October 21-22, 2021.

    The forum will focus on the role of life science universities in transitioning to climate neutrality and open science. Detailed information on registration is available at: https://www.ica-europe.info/registration-forum

    During the meeting, the participants discussed the preparation for the forum, the tasks and program goals of the association for 2022, membership in the association and other statutory issues.
 

    The meeting was chaired by the President of the Association, President of ICA, Rector Magnificus of Wageningen University and Research (the Netherlands) Arthur Mol and ICA Vice President, Rector of the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences (Vienna, Austria), Hubert Hasenauer. NUBiP of Ukraine was represented by Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work, International Activity and Development Vadym Tkachuk.
