Humanitarians communicate only in foreign languages!
“We only communicate in foreign languages” - informal gatherings of students of the Faculty for Humanities and Pedagogics took place under this slogan as part of the traditional autumn land cleaning of the adjacent territory around the central educational building. The event took place on October 31, at the initiative of the student body of the faculty, when the English-speaking and German-speaking student groups of the Philology specialty joined together to achieve a common and important goal.
The main objective of the event was to increase the practice of foreign language, to unite the team in extracurricular activities and, of course, the aesthetic design of our University. Students assigned to mixed teams, conducted mini-competitions on quality and speed clean-up, which ended with mandatory briefings with their instructors in foreign languages. Vice-deans Jaroslav Rudyk and Ihor Butsyk also joined the work and communication in foreign languages. As a result, communicating only in foreign languages, future translators united, promptly and thoroughly cleared the area from the leaves. The atmosphere was friendly, filled with team spirit, and, most importantly, despite the cool and hard work, the youth continued to speak foreign.
Such a pleasant conversation got even brighter colors over a cup of hot tea from the Dean of the Faculty for Humanities and Pedagogics, Professor Vasyl Shynkaruk.
Only friendship, language and beauty won the competition.
