Training concept
Training of highly qualified specialists in the field of journalism who have theoretical knowledge and practical skills, general and professional competencies necessary for professional activity in modern conditions of media space transformations.
Practical training
Providing high-quality professional training of students majoring in 061 Journalism, the Department of Journalism and Language Communication has concluded an agreement "On cooperation in the field of professional training of journalists" with the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (agreement № 11 of 15.02.2019).
The following professional training sessions are envisaged: practical (introductory) training: editorial office of the newspaper "University Courier" of NULES of Ukraine, press service of NULES of Ukraine, editorial and publishing department of NULES of Ukraine, educational media laboratory of NULES of Ukraine; practical and production training: Ildana TV and Radio Company (agreement № 168 dated April 29, 2019), Central TV and Radio Studio of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (agreement № 470 dated April 31, 2021), “Ukraina Moloda” PE (agreement № 471 dated June 10, 2021), Obltelekom LLC (agreement № 553 dated June 18, 2021), "Parliamentary TV Channel Rada" state enterprise (agreement № 554 dated June 18, 2021), "RRP GROUP" LLC (agreement № 555 dated June 18, 2021), "Editorial Board of "Nash horodok" magazine” LLC (agreement № 556 dated June 18, 2021), “Malynski Novyny” newspaper” PE (agreement № 557 dated June 18, 2021), “Kremenchutska Hazeta” PE (agreement № 558 dated June 18, 2021), “Legal Protection and Security of Ukraine ”NGO (agreement № 559 dated June 18, 2021), representative office of “Belsat TV in Ukraine” TV channel (agreement № 552 dated June 24, 2021), Express Media Druk LLC (agreement № 560 dated June 3, 2021), “Government Courier” State Enterprise (agreement № 550 dated 24 June 2021), "Direct" TV channel LLC (agreement № 561 dated June 24, 2021).
Academic rights of graduates:graduates can apply for Master’s Degree Specialtiesand Educational (Educational-professional or Educational-scientific) programs specified in Table 1.2of Section1.3 of this Catalog.

Employment of Graduates
A journalism specialist can work in mass media: newspapers, magazines, television and radio companies, online publications, press and news agencies, press centers, public relations services.
