Purpose, goals and objectives of the project
The objective of this project is to organize a new course on EU OH framework and policies. This module aims to promote understanding of the key elements of the OH approach of the EU. The course will have an added value from the point of developing and modernizing the curricula and understanding the role of the EU as a best practice region in OH policy, and providing students with relevant knowledge for the sustainable global future.
The activity will contribute to future engagement with the EU One Health system and understanding of the theories and general concepts about the One Health concept by transferring information and experiences to involved and interested parties.

Role of the NULES and other partners.
Strengthening cooperation and promoting interdisciplinary and intersectoral activities, including education within the framework of the One Health concept for students of veterinary faculties.
The project implementation includes:
- Raising awareness of the One Health approach
- Promoting awareness of the challenges faced by Ukraine within the framework of One Health, such as foodborne and zoonotic diseases, antimicrobial resistance, food safety, etc.
- Introduction of formal training on One Health issues
- Integration of One Health education into teaching, research and promotion.
- Creating a multidisciplinary network with foreign institutions for cooperation and research in the field of One Health.
- Involvement of European and international experts in research activities.
- Application of European recommendations and guidelines on the One Health approach in research and development of new courses and materials.
