The department of philosophy and international communication held a scientific and practical seminar "The IIIrd Kantian readings"

To the 299th anniversary of I. Kant on the basis of the department of philosophy and international communication of the faculty of humanities and pedagogy of NULES of Ukraine, a scientific and practical seminar "The IIIrd Kant readings" was held to popularize the ideas of I. Kant among young scientists: students, pupils and postgraduates. For the third year in a row, the Kantian readings have become a platform for public discussion, open discussion and exchange of views among young scientists and speakers.
The work of the scientific and practical seminar, which was held in an online format, was started by the initiator and moderator of the event, assistant of the department of philosophy and international communication Viktoria Shekhovtsova-Buryanova.
The dean of the faculty of humanities and pedagogy Inna Savytska and the head of the department of philosophy and international communication Valentyna Kultenko,addressed the participants of the seminar with a welcoming speech who noted that I. Kant left behind a significant scientific and philosophical legacy, which reflected his incredibly wide range of interests. Kantian philosophizing is increasingly attracting the attention of researchers with its thematic breadth, depth of understanding of man and the world. This brilliant philosopher posed and solved the most important questions of European philosophy. Philosophy of I. Kant is a transitional link between the rationalism of the Enlightenment and the romantically colored philosophy of the XIX century.
The practical part of the scientific and practical seminar was started by 8th grade pupil of Lutsk Lyceum No. 21 named after Mykhailo Kravchuk ( Lutsk, Ukraine) Koretska Bozhena with the topic of the report: "Interesting facts from the life of the great philosopher Immanuel Kant".
Shchuka Olesya student of the faculty of humanities and pedagogy of NULES of Ukraine in her report "Kantian aesthetics and questions of perception: reflection and interpretation" considered the aesthetic views of the philosopher.
In their report "Teaching of I. Kant on law and the state" 3rd year students, specialty "International relations, public communications and regional studios", faculty of humanities and pedagogy Kateryna Bartovshchuk, Alina Melnyk and Luisa Prokhorova considered what the ideal state according to I. Kant is.
Report on the topic "Ethical and legal ideas of I. Kant" was presented by a student of the agrobiological faculty Shulezhko Anton.
In his report "Ethics of I. Kant and modernity" student of the agrobiological faculty Mostovy Yaroslav considered the peculiarities of I. Kant's ethical teaching.
Olexandr Shpytsya, student of the agrobiological faculty presented a report on the topic "Modernizing and reflecting Immanuel Kant's ideas in the present".
An interesting and relevant report on the topic "Kant's categorical imperative in the modern world"was presented by a student of the faculty of plant protection, biotechnology and ecology Mankiv Kateryna ,in which she considered the peculiarities of applying the categorical imperative in the present.
The scientific and practical seminar "The IIIrd Kantian readings" once again became an interesting and fruitful event that gave students the opportunity to present scientific achievements and prove themselves as speakers, researchers and promising young scientists. The students were immersed in the world of I. Kant and looked at the current issues through the eyes of the Konigsberg thinker himself.
Summing up the work of the scientific and practical seminar, the most interesting and thorough reports were noted, in particular:
1st place - Koretska Bozhena and Mankiv Kateryna;
2nd place - Olesya Shchuka, Kateryna Bartovshchuk, Alina Melnyk and Luiza Prokhorovaand
3rd place - Shulezhko Anton, Mostovy Yaroslav, Shpytsya Olexandr.
Immanuel Kant is a thinker who became the second genius of European philosophy after Plato. Almost all varieties of modern philosophizing go back to and in one way or another to I. Kant. His ideas are undergoing transformation, but they continue to live on.
