General information
The group works in the following form:
- performing research work under the guidance of the department's teachers and the head of the club;
- setting up a scientific experiment in the department's laboratories;
- presenting scientific reports and messages on students' interests at a meeting of the club;
- discussing scientific problems in working groups;
- participating in scientific conferences, etc.;
- preparing for a subject Olympiad.
At the meetings of the group, students actively discuss topical issues on the impact of various factors on the quality of crop production; in-depth study of regulatory documentation for crop production with a comparative analysis with international ones; the role of innovative methods of plant nutrition diagnostics in improving the quality of crop production and ways to improve them; the impact of resource-saving cultivation technologies on crop quality indicators. To achieve the goals and objectives of the club, the department has a high level of scientific and technical base and the scientific potential of its employees, who are actively involved in the work of the club. The club members conduct their research in the department's laboratories: ‘Optimisation of Plant Nutrition’, ‘Agrochemistry and Fertiliser Application Systems’, ‘Quality Management of Crop Production and Agricultural Research Methods’, where scientific experiments are set up and studies of crop production quality are conducted. In addition, students who are members of the club are actively involved in the department's field experiments, where they test plant nutrition diagnostics and a range of measures to manage the quality of crop production during the growing season.
