Plant physiology and biochemistry

The laboratory conducts research on the regulatory action of phenylpropanoid synthesis substances, the cytostatic and antitumor action of isoquinoline alkaloids, and the antioxidant activity of hydroxycinnamic acids, coumarins, and flavonoids. The specifics of the synthesis of secondary metabolites in plants under in vitro conditions, their role in the processes of development of protective reactions, adaptation, and recovery of plant organisms are being studied.
