A trip of first-year students to the outstanding places of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine

NULES of Ukraine is one of the best universities in our country and it is one of the leaders of modern highly professional education with an age-old history.
The institution of higher education provides high-quality services in the modern market of educational services and impresses with the diversity of leisure opportunities for students.
Applicants of the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education of the first year of the Faculty of Agrarian Management successfully started a cycle of excursions to the spectacular places of NULES of Ukraine. During the first month of study, they visited the scientific library of the university, the anatomy museum of NULES of Ukraine, as well as the museum of forest animals and birds named after Prof. O. O. Salganskyi.
The museum’s exhibits include lynx, forest cat, woodpecker, golden eagle, osprey, etc, which are listed in the Red Book of Ukraine.
Stuffed golden eagles, auks, puffins, whooper swans, buzzards, gray cranes, steppe ferrets, cowbirds, and cormorants belong to the collection of the famous nature conservationist F. F. Schillinger.
Among the gifts to the museum, the most valuable place is given to the head of an elk on a medallion, presented to Professor O. O. Salgansky by the former Minister of Forestry of the USSR O. G. Soldatov.
Natalia Puzrina, head of the Department of Forestry, conducted an interesting and informative excursion. Mentor of the academic group, associate professor of the Department of Management named after Prof. J. S. Zavadskyi Natalia Drahnieva and the applicants of the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education of the first year of the Faculty of Agrarian Management express their sincere gratitude.
