Active participation of the Production and Investment Management Department in the International Winter School "Social Dimensions of European Studies"

 Traditionally the professors of the Production and Investment Management Department have started the new 2022 year participating in interesting scientific events. Thus from January 17, 2022 till January 28, 2022 the International Winter School "Social Dimensions of European Studies" hosted as part of the project implementation by the Jean Monnet Chair "Social and Cultural Aspects of European Studies" (SCAES) that was co-organized by the Production and Investment Management Department.

This year the winter school brought together more than 290 participants from various higher education institutions. On behalf of the Production and Investment Management Department the participants of the international winter school were: project coordinator from the NULES of Ukraine, Doctor of Economics, Associate Professor, Acting Head of the Production and Investment Management Department Maryna M. Dielini, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Economics, Professor Lidiia V. Shynkaruk, Candidates of Economic Sciences, Associate Professors Tetiana O. Vlasenko, Alla V. Sukhanova, Mykhailo M. Sverdan, Valentyna P. Bykhovchenko, Tetiana O. Artyukh, Oksana V. Perchuk, Viktor G. Orekhivsky, Candidates of Sciences in Public Administration, Associate Professors Anna V. Dergach and Kateryna A. Alekseieva.

 

The school program included the studying of the following courses that reveal the social dimensions of European policies:

Seminar "The European Social Policy", the tutor of which was Doctor of Economics, Associate Professor, Acting Head of the Production and Investment Management Department of the NULES of Ukraine Maryna M. Dielini. During the seminar there was a lively discussion with all participants on the social stratification of society in the EU, migration processes and the main factors influencing them. Particular attention was paid to the social responsibility of business in the European enterprises and the studying of their experience.

Intensive course "The European Policy of Social Cohesion", distant learning courses "The European Policy of Social Innovation" and "The Social Dimensions of the European Policies", tutor - PhD, Professor of Management and Innovative Technologies of Socio-Cultural Activities of NPU named after Mykhailo P. Dragomanov, Professor of Jean Monnet SCAES, Academic Coordinator of Jean Monnet EVDISD Mariia Nesterova. The intensive courses included issues related to the European social policy, European cohesion policy, European youth policy. Participants noted that the course significantly improved their knowledge of community development, social innovation. The intensive course also reflected the principles of mixed format of studying, e-learning and ICT in education.

The distant courses "The European Social Model" and "The inclusive EU Policy in Education", tutor - European project expert, Professor of the University of Genoa Diana Spulber. The aim of these courses was to develop a system of competencies related to the phenomenon of the European social model as an integrative sphere of social innovation, in which social principles and values, attitudes and indicators of economic progress, individual attitudes and beliefs are formed.

After graduating from the International Winter School "Social Dimensions of European Studies", all the participants passed the final tests based on the courses and received certificates.
