This is especially relevant for the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, which is in the process of European accreditation by EAEVE and needs a modern clinical base for practical training of students.

Hanna PETKUN, a representative of the European Business Association (EBA), spoke in support of the project to create a productive animal clinic at the Department of Veterinary Reproducology of the NUBiP of Ukraine. In her speech, she emphasized that the European Business Association sees this project as a powerful step towards the integration of Ukrainian veterinary education into the European space, because it is precisely such cooperation between the university and business that creates real opportunities for training a new generation of specialists focused on practice, innovation and international standards.

The Department of Veterinary Reproducology was presented in a short but meaningful presentation by the Acting Head, Associate Professor Serhiy DERKACH. He emphasized the high scientific and practical potential of the department, which has many years of experience and unique competencies in the field of reproduction control of productive and small domestic animals. He also emphasized that the department’s staff not only provides high-quality training for students, but also actively introduces modern biotechnological methods into veterinary practice, contributing to the development of the industry and increasing the efficiency of animal husbandry in Ukraine.

The key moment of the meeting was the presentation of the dean of the faculty, Oleksandr VALCHUK, of the project “Modernization of the inpatient unit of the Department of Veterinary Reproductive Medicine into a clinic for productive animals”. He presented the concept of a modern innovative platform that will unite education, science and business into a single system of practical training of veterinarians and the implementation of sustainable animal husbandry technologies.

“This is not just a reconstruction of the premises – it is the creation of a space where education meets practice, and the university meets business,” the dean emphasized.

The project involves the integration of two key blocks – educational and scientific and innovative and production, which will act as a single platform for:

• Innovation and technology testing – testing of drugs, technologies and solutions in real conditions;

• Educational and scientific events – conferences, seminars, master classes, trainings, advanced training programs;

• International partnership – participation in grants, donor and European projects;

• Demonstration of products and technologies – opportunities for businesses to present solutions directly to clients.

During the meeting, the guests visited the Department of Veterinary Reproducology and the educational and scientific laboratory of the National Center for Animal Reproducology with a Sperm and Embryo Bank.

Professor Vitaliy KOVPAK demonstrated unique achievements in the field of reproductive biotechnology, in particular the full cycle of in vitro embryo production, which became the basis for the further development of the clinic project.

This partnership is a confident step into the future of veterinary education in Ukraine, where business, science, and education act as a single team.
