Education

1986 – Graduated from the Faculty of Forestry at the Ukrainian Agricultural Academy (now the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine) with a degree in forestry engineering. 1993 – Completed her postgraduate studies at the Sugar Beet Research Institute, specializing in “Biotechnology.”


1994 – Defended her Ph.D. dissertation at the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Agricultural Biotechnology of the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences on the topic: “Testing the Beet Necrotic Yellow Vein Virus Using the Method of Molecular Nucleic Acid Hybridization” in the specialty 03.00.20 — Biotechnology. Since 1995, she has been working at the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine (NULES).

Dissertation research

At the All-Russian Research Institute of Agricultural Biotechnology of the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences (RASGN), she defended her Ph.D. dissertation on the topic: “Testing for the Beet Necrotic Yellow Vein Virus Using the Molecular Nucleic Acid Hybridization Method” in the field of 03.00.20—Biotechnology.

Scientific interests

Her primary research interests focus on the physiological and biochemical characteristics of sugar beets and biotechnological research in the breeding of industrial crops. She has supervised one candidate of biological sciences: Y.V. Kolomiyets.
