International activity
The department directs its activities to the comprehensive development of international relations with leading institutions and organizations.An agreement on scientific and technical cooperation was concluded with the Scientific and Practical Institute of Biotechnology in Zootechnology and Veterinary Medicine of the Republic of Moldova (MD-6525, Maximovka village, Anenii Noi district, Republic of Moldova). Within the framework of the Erasmus + program, the department's teachers train masters at the Agricultural School of the University of Lille (ISA Lille, France), and the teachers of this institution at the Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Aquatic Bioresources of the NUBiP of Ukraine.



The staff of the department collaborates with scientific institutions and agricultural enterprises of different countries. Scientific cooperation has been established with the Technical University of Moldova, and they participate in the implementation of the following international projects: Erasmus+ “Sustainable Livestock Production and Animal Welfare” ; “Plant-based diet to ensure progress towards sustainable production and consumption”. (Swedish Institute); Happy Animals for Sustainable Production and Consumption, SI (Swedish Institute).
The agricultural enterprise “Baiserke-Agro” LLC of the Republic of Kazakhstan has initiated the study of the principles and methods of organic milk production management.


As part of the Twinning Project of cooperation between NUBiP and the University of Reading in Warsaw, the department's staff is attending a week-long international training seminar "Capacity building of Ukrainian researchers for sustainable livelihoods: socio-economic development".



The department's employees participate in international conferences, seminars, trainings, visit agricultural enterprises and educational institutions in France, Israel, Germany, the Netherlands, and Austria. The department holds seminars involving specialists from the USA, Ireland, and Germany. An industrial internship has been organized under the "Friendship Without Borders" program (France).


International cooperation on the formation of a family-type FG of a specialized dairy direction in sheep farming together with the Association of Shepherds and Goat Breeders of Austria on the basis of the farm "Geozem-Makariv" in Ukraine.
According to the grant project "Improving laboratory practice skills of specialists in the agri-food sector of Eastern Europe" as part of the Ukrainian group of scientists, Assoc. Prof. Zlamanyuk L.M. was at the Wroclaw University of Natural Sciences in Poland, Wroclaw for the purpose of a scientific internship within the framework of the Erasmus+ capacity building project "AgLab".
