In May 2024, an educational and scientific laboratory of poultry production technology and the Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Aquatic Bioresources of the NUBiP of Ukraine was opened.
The laboratory, which is one of the unique structural units of the faculty, is intended to train bachelors, masters and doctors of philosophy in the specialty "Technology of production and processing of livestock products", provide advisory services and scientific and practical recommendations on poultry farming, conduct scientific research.
The modern, practically oriented unit is located on two floors and includes several workshops - egg production, egg incubation, broiler chicken breeding and a methodological office for the work of graduate students and scientists.
The laboratory allows students to master practical competencies in conditions that are as close as possible to production, and scientists to conduct relevant research.
The egg production workshop keeps crosses of chickens "Lohmann Brown", "Lohmann Sandy", "Lohmann LSL-Classic", as well as quails (English white, English black, Manchurian, Pharaoh Texas breeds).

The egg incubation workshop has incubators, technological equipment for keeping young animals. Here you can conduct quality assessment of hatching eggs, biological control in incubation, and evaluation of young farm poultry.
There is also a poultry breeding workshop for meat and a room for postgraduate students to work.
The laboratory has stand equipment that assists in conducting laboratory classes and complements the theoretical content, as well as appropriate multimedia and computer equipment.
