Faculty of Veterinary Medicine cooperates with Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine

      Representatives from Educational Establishment “Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine” and Vitebsk State Medical Institute (Belarus), Iryna Subbotina, an associate professor, and Valerii Semenov, head of the department paid a visit to Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of NUBiP of Ukraine. They discussed crucial issues of cooperation with Mykola Tsvilihovskyi, dean of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Dmytro Zasekin, head of ERI of Animals Health, Vasyl Danilov, vice-dean, Natalia Soroka head of the department of parasitology and tropical veterinary medicine, Vitalii Nedosekov, head of the department of epizootology and veterinary business organization, Andrii Pavlenko, a participant of the program of reducing a biological threat Black and Veatch/Metabiota in Ukraine.

     Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of NUBiP of Ukraine and Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine have been successfully cooperating just over 10 years. This cooperation has resulted in publishing joint works, such as «Manual about veterinary parasitology», «Illnesses of tropical animals», etc.

     Two parties agreed to cooperate for the next five years after discussing many issues of cooperation, among others there was a joint project about the impact of pathogens of parasitic illness on the development of different kinds of cancer.

     Oleh Melnyk welcomed guests at the department of anatomy, histology named after V.N. Kasianenko. Guests also attended some practical classes and visited the department museum.
