Choosing a profession today is closely associated with such a concept as "career guidance." That career guidance should put a sign of equality between the life's aspirations of youth and social needs in the labor force in the labor market.
The purpose of career guidance work is to assist the student in choosing a field of activity, and a profession that corresponds to his abilities and capabilities, contributed to the development of professional inclinations and interests.
In our opinion, the most effective career guidance work is a career guidance in order to attract students. So the students of the first course of the FilA-17002b group Atamanchuk Anastasiya, Voyna-Kim Mykyta, Zhilenkova Margarita on the instructions of their curator Mishak Olena visited their native schools to familiarize senior students with the faculty of humanities and pedagogy of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine.
Student of Voyna-Kim Mykytata visited the general educational school number 1 in Slavutych. He conducted a conversation with students of 11 form, during which he talked about the NULES of Ukraine, about the history of the establishment of the faculty of Humanities and Pedagogy.
Students learned useful information about the specialty of the faculty, namely: "International relations, public communications and regional studios", "Professional education", "Philology", "Psychology", "Social work", "Journalism"
Students were really interested in information about specialization “Philology”, because it was interesting and useful. It is possible to work as an interpreter, school teacher or as a teacher at a higher educational institution.
Student showed a video and presented some booklets about faculty of Humanities and Pedagogy to the children. Pupils were interested in this information and asked questions.
Zhilenkova Margarita conducted career guidance work with students in Zdoriv high school of I-III grades. The student reported that our university is located in the picturesque Golosiiv’s Park, which has a positive effect on the health and mood of the students. A high grade she gave to the teachers, who is skilled and sensitive, always ready to help.
During the meeting, the student told future applicants not only about the conditions of admission, but also about the broad prospects of studying at NULES of Ukraine, and especially at the faculty Humanities and Pedagogy.
Atamanchuk Anastasia visited students of the Kyiv’s gymnasium of international relations № 323 to help them in the difficult choice of the future educational institution and specialty.
The information about the possibility of the faculty of humanities and pedagogy to teach students at the Pomorskaya Academy (Slupsk, Poland) and the opportunity to obtain a degree in NULES of Ukraine under the system of double diplomas was very interesting. Also interested in information about the quality of education, the teachers, the simultaneous study of several foreign languages, an interesting and rich cultural life of students.
Future applicants were interested in information about NULES. Maybe they will choose the faculty of Humanities and Pedagogy for further studying and we will be glad to meet them.
