Economic development and business administration
On October 22, 2020, the First International Scientific and Practical Conference "Economic Development and Business Administration: Scientific Currents and Solutions" of the National Aviation University was held in partnership with the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine
The purpose of the conference was to scientifically well-ground the results of the theoretical and practical research related to the development and implementation of new principles, methods and models in the management system of economic development and business administration processes to improve the quality of management decisions in the context of modern problems and contradictions of globalization.
The plenary session of the conference was opened by Artur G. Gudmanyan, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Doctor of Philology, Professor of the National Aviation University, Vladimir P. Kharchenko, the Vice-Rector for Research, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the National Aviation University, Svitlana Petrovska, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of the National Aviation University, Lidiia V. Shynkaruk, the Head of the Production and Investment Management Department of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Corresponding Member of the NAS of Ukraine.
The conference was attended by professors of the Production and Investment Management Department of the NULES of Ukraine. In particular Doctor of Economics, Associate Professor Maryna M. Dielini took part with the topic "Development of e-commerce in a pandemic", which revealed the role of marketplaces as sales channels; Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Iryna M. Tytarchuk held a speech "Competitive opportunities and achievements of the Ukrainian business in modern conditions" and gave some practical examples of success of Ukrainian enterprises that had been using the crisis as a new opportunity for business development; Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Alla V. Sukhanova outlined in her report "Analysis of the investment situation in Ukraine in modern economic conditions" the main problems of attracting investment and the peculiarities of the formation of the investment climate in modern conditions; Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Valentyna P. Bykhovchenko revealed the issue of staff turnover speaking about "Generalization of the peculiarities of personnel management in an agricultural enterprise".
In addition, 16 students of the 4th year of education and masters of the educational program "Management of Investment Activities and International Projects" took an active part in the conference.
