Ihor V. Kalinin

Ihor Kalinin was born on January 28, 1970, in the village of Dmytrivka, Znamianskyi district, Kirovohrad region, into a family of employees (his father and mother are veterinarians). After graduating from high school with a gold medal, he entered the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Ukrainian Agricultural Academy (Kyiv), graduating with honors in 1992. In 1996, he completed his full-time postgraduate studies at the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology, and in 2013, he completed his full-time doctoral studies at the Department of Biochemistry of the Institute of Biology of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
Candidate of Biological Sciences (1998): dissertation on "The influence of acid-base state on the indicators of energy and nitrogen metabolism and the intensity of heavy metal elimination in the tissues of toxicized rats", specialty 03.00.04 - biochemistry. He was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor of the Department of Animal Biochemistry, Quality and Safety of Agricultural Products in 2001. Doctor of Biological Sciences (2014): dissertation on "Biochemical mechanisms of heavy metal neutralization in rat tissues" in the specialty 03.00.04 - Biochemistry. He was awarded the academic title of Professor of the Department of Chemistry in 2018.
Study of the content, migration and biotransformation of xenobiotics in the body of animals and environmental objects, as well as the effect of xenobiotics on biochemical processes in the body of animals.
During 2015-2021, he was a member of the editorial board of the Scientific Journal of the National Pedagogical Dragomanov University (Biology Series), the editorial board of the proceedings of the International ("Fundamental and Applied Research in Modern Chemistry" (from 2020 - "Fundamental and Applied Research in Modern Chemistry and Pharmacy", 2016-2021) and All-Ukrainian ("Actual Issues of Training a Future Chemistry Teacher: Theory and Practice", 2016-2020) scientific and practical conferences.
