Master students majoring in energetics successfully defended their master theses in Warsaw

   Master students of the Education and Research Institute of Energetics, Automation and Energy Efficiency majoring in 141 “Electricity, electrotechnics and electromechanics” and studying under the double degree master program at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) successfully defended their master theses.

   The international examination commission included Head of the ERI of Energetics, Automation and Energy Efficiency, Professor Volodymyr Kozyrskyy, Dean of the Faculty of Product Engineering of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW), Professor Bogdan Drozd, Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics and Electrotechnology of NUBiP of Ukraine, Professor Andriy Zhyltsov, Head of the Department of Production Management and Engineering of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences Karol Tucki, Associate Professor of Academician I.I. Martynenko Department of Automation and Robotics Systems Ihor Bolbot; Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Product Engineering of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences Michal Avtonyuk; Associate Professor of the Department of Engineering Management of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences Joanna Alexeyuk.

   Two papers were presented for the commission’s consideration: “Autonomous energy network of the Witonia village council based on information on annual energy consumption” by Danyil Chernyshov and “Analysis of a wind micro power plant with a vertical axis of rotation” by Maksym Vasylenko.

  

   The defense lasted two hours. Our students have demonstrated excellent professional knowledge and proficiency in Polish. The examination commission rated both papers “excellent”. Both students received two diplomas - one of NUBiP of Ukraine and one of SGGW. And both of them decided to return to Ukraine.

    In a welcoming speech, the Dean of the Faculty of Product Engineering, Bogdan Drozd highlighted that Danyil Chernyshov and Maksym Vasylenko were the most successful not only among Polish students, but also among all students from Eastern Europe.
