Rating «TOP-200 Ukraine»: NUBiP confidently gained a foothold in the top ten best universities in the country

The results of the annual academic rating of Ukrainian higher education institutions «TOP-200 Ukraine 2025» have been published.

According to its results, the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine took the seventh place, confidently gaining a foothold in the cohort of the top ten higher education institutions in the country.

The university ranking is being developed for the nineteenth time by the Center for international projects by the Center for international projects «Euroosvita» together with the international group of experts IREG Observatory on Academic Ranking and Excellence.

According to the authors, the current trends in the transformation of higher education, which is in a state of profound changes due to both structural reforms and large-scale losses caused by full-scale military aggression against Ukraine, are taken into account in the process of compiling the current rating.

The assessment of the activities of Ukrainian universities this year has been carried out on the basis of using 6 international and 4 national indicators. At the same time, for the first time, SCImago Institutions Rankings indicators were used instead of Webometrics rating indicators.

The top 20 universities in Ukraine this year included 6 metropolitan universities, 3 universities from Dnipro, two each from Lviv and Kharkiv, and one representative each from Sumy, Ivano-Frankivsk, Odessa, Chernivtsi, Uzhgorod, Rivne and Ternopil.
