History

The Department of Administrative Management and Foreign Economic Activity (formerly World Agriculture and Foreign Economic Activity) of the Faculty of Agrarian Management was established on 8 April 1992 to train specialists in the field of foreign economic activity for the agricultural sector of Ukraine.

The founder of the department and its head from 1992 to 2006 and from 2011 to 2019 was Valerii Pavlovych Halushko, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Honoured Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine. From 2006 to June 2011, the Department was headed by Larysa Dibrova, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor. From 2019 to 2020, the department was headed by Doctor of Economics, Professor Tetiana Mostenska. From 2020 to June 2023, the department was headed by Doctor of Economics, Professor Vitalii Lutsiak. Since 2023, the Department has been headed by Olena Kovtun, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor.
