Veterinary Students at the Eco Career Day: New Opportunities — a New Professional Future
On May 14, 2025, the Grand Hall of Building No. 3 at NUBiP of Ukraine hosted a large-scale event — the Eco Career Day, organized by the University Career Development Center. The event brought together students, graduates, young professionals, and leading Ukrainian and international companies operating in the fields of sustainable development and environmentally responsible business.
Among the participants were 4th-year students (Group 10) and 6th-year Master's students specializing in “Veterinary Pharmacy” of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, who actively engaged in company presentations and networking with potential employers.
The students had the opportunity to explore open vacancies, internship programs, and cooperation prospects. Special attention was given to topics such as sustainable development, ecological responsibility, and the implementation of innovations in veterinary medicine.
The event featured participation from prominent national and international companies, including Ukrzaliznytsia, MHP, Epicentr, Ukrainian Agrarian Holding, Himagro M, E.NEXT, Toyota, EBS, and Carlsberg, all of which actively invest in the development of young professionals.
Particular interest among veterinary students was sparked by presentations from MHP, Himagro M, E.NEXT, and Carlsberg, where representatives discussed current vacancies, corporate culture, sustainability principles, and innovative approaches to veterinary support in agribusiness. Participants had the chance to submit their CVs, attend express interviews, connect with HR professionals, and receive invitations for internships.
The participation of veterinary students in the Eco Career Day was not only informationally enriching but also strategically important, as it enabled them to familiarize themselves with the current demands of the veterinary labor market, build valuable professional connections, and take their first steps toward a conscious career path.
