Pre-Christmas Meeting of Mentor Hryhorii Boiko with Fifth-Year Students of Group 10, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine

On December 24, 2025, after the completion of credits and the examination session, on the eve of Christmas, a meeting was held between the group mentor, Associate Professor of the Department of Pharmacology, Parasitology, and Tropical Veterinary Medicine Hryhorii Boiko, and the fifth-year students of Group 10 of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.

During the meeting, the outcomes of the educational and formative process in the autumn semester were reviewed. The mentor noted the high level of responsibility demonstrated by the students, their successful completion of credits and examinations, as well as the positive academic performance of the group throughout the semester. Particular attention was paid to the organization and completion of industrial (practical) training, which represents a crucial stage in the professional development of graduating students, as well as to the importance of focused and systematic preparation for the Unified State Qualification Examination (USQE).

Given the pre-Christmas period, the mentor addressed the students by emphasizing the significance of Christmas traditions in Ukrainian history and culture as a time of spiritual renewal, family unity, and responsibility for shared values. It was noted that Christmas traditions in Ukraine have long combined work, learning, and moral principles, shaping a worldview in which knowledge, service to society, and humanity occupy a central place-principles that are equally important for future veterinary professionals.

The meeting took place in a constructive and friendly atmosphere. Students had the opportunity to ask questions and receive comprehensive and well-reasoned answers. The conclusion of the autumn semester on the eve of Christmas thus became a meaningful moment for summing up an important stage of study in the final year.
