Mission & Vision

The department provides training for veterinary medicine specialists at the Bachelor's and Master's levels, provides postgraduate education for heads and chemists-toxicologists of chemical-toxicological departments of veterinary medicine laboratories of various levels, and advanced training for heads and employees of veterinary medicine pharmacies.

Over the years of training specialists in physiology and pharmacology, the department has developed its own training programmes and published manuals and textbooks that correspond to the current level of scientific development in Ukraine and incorporate both the department's own experience and that of leading institutions and laboratories around the world. Elective disciplines taught in this specialisation are supported by educational and working programmes created with consideration for current global trends in the development of physiology and pharmacology, allowing students to integrate organically into the global scientific community.

The department trains scientific personnel with a PhD degree and candidates for a Doctor of Science degree.
