A month has passed since the start of the new academic year in the conditions of martial law at our university. According to the schedule of the educational process, students of the second year of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, studying in the specialty "Veterinary Medicine" (support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine), OS "Master" successfully attend laboratory classes in the discipline "Biochemistry of animals with the basics of physical and colloid chemistry" and it is especially nice to note, that in the group – 100% presence.
Students had the opportunity to perform laboratory work on their own in cozy and well-equipped laboratories of the Department of Biochemistry and Animal Physiology named after Academician M.F. Gulogo according to the curriculum. According to students' feedback, this kind of work stimulates better assimilation of theoretical material and allows you to acquire practical skills and abilities when working in the laboratory. Students actively participated in the work, asked questions, participated in discussions of the obtained results.
It should be noted that despite the state of war, the quality training of specialists at our university is carried out at a high level. And I would like to wish all students, teachers, and employees’ peace in our native Ukraine as soon as possible.
Ihor Kalinin,
Professor of the Department of Biochemistry and Physiology of Animals
