Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Action Project

“Negotiation Diplomacy of the EU and Ukraine in the Agricultural Sector”

  • Objective:
    To deepen students’ knowledge and skills in the field of negotiation diplomacy between the European Union and Ukraine in the agricultural sector, supporting Ukraine’s EU accession process. The project focuses on teaching, research, and stakeholder engagement to prepare specialists in agricultural diplomacy, trade negotiations, and EU policies.
  • Main activities include the development and implementation of a new academic course at NULES of Ukraine, the creation of an online course, and the organization of summer schools, open lectures, webinars, and academic conferences. The project also предусматриє the preparation of educational and expert materials, conference proceedings, and media publications to inform both the expert community and the general public.
  • Expected results include improving the quality of education in agricultural diplomacy, preparing specialists for EU accession negotiations, increasing public awareness of the EU Common Agricultural Policy and the benefits of integration, and strengthening links between academia, policymakers, civil society, and business.
  • Long-term impact:
    The project ensures sustainable impact through the integration of the course into the NULES educational programme, continued availability of online materials, and the development of lasting cooperation between the academic community, civil society, and policymakers.
