Olena Kovalchuk: I have a C1 certificate in German and plan to become a translator
Olena Kovalchuk, 21, was born and lives in the city of Kyiv and study at the fourth course of the faculty for humanyties and pedagogy.

ЧWhy did you choose the profession of translator?
– I used to enjoy learning foreign languages, so I chose the profession of translator and teacher of foreign languages.

What contributed to your decision to pursue a master's degree?
– I have repeatedly undergone internships and field practice abroad, namely in Germany, thus improving my knowledge.
The university instructors are highly qualified and give students a really deep knowledge. It is for this reason that I decided to enter our university for a master's degree.

Do you have practical experience?
– Yes, I work in a specialty, I teach pupils German. The university has helped to improve my practical and theoretical knowledge of languages. I also worked for a company and wrote content in German describing cities in Germany where one can go and relax.

What other professional achievements do you have?
– I also studied at the Goethe-Institut, where I received my C1 level certificate in German.

How do you see your future?
– I love to travel, have visited many countries, got acquainted with their culture and customs. In the future, I want to gain even more knowledge in my field and teach other people and continue to translate.
