Update of the laboratory fund of the Department of Technologies in Poultry, Pig and Sheep Breeding for high-quality practical training of students - done!
To successfully work in the chosen specialty, a modern young specialist, along with deep theoretical knowledge must have the necessary skills and abilities to effectively apply them in practice. The modern labor market requires from a graduate of a higher education institution the ability to use the acquired theoretical knowledge in non-standard situations and situations that are constantly changing, in real production conditions. Today, the task of training a new type of employee, who is characterized by professional flexibility and mobility, comes to the fore.
Given these narratives, the staff of the Department of Technology in Poultry, Pigs and Sheep breeding is responsible for improving the practical training of students of the Faculty of Livestock Raising and Water Bioresources of the famous the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine. To date, the department, with the support of the university and faculty administrations, has significantly improved the conditions for practical training of higher education students in the training and exhibition pavilion of technological equipment in pig breeding with modern elements of technological equipment for pig breeding. Currently, technical re-equipment and updating of technological equipment for the poultry industry in the training and exhibition pavilion of technological equipment in poultry is underway.
In the conditions of this educational and practical location the departments successfully improve their practical skills and master modern technologies in the conditions as close as possible to the production faculties of higher education: of Faculty of Livestock Raising and Water Bioresources, Mechanical and Technological Faculty, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Faculty of Agricultural Management. The completion of these objects of the department is to create a training class for scientists, graduate students, producers, technologists, managers of commercial institutions in the field of pig and poultry with the support of world-famous companies «Topigs Norsvin» and «Big Dutchman».
An integral object of practical training of higher education National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine is the educational and scientific laboratory of poultry production technologies and training laboratory of sheep breeding where production conditions are created for the technology of egg production, broiler chicken breeding, quail breeding for meat and egg production, incubation of poultry eggs of all kinds, primary processing of livestock products, breeding of sheep and goats of different breeds and of productivity, shearing of sheep, sorting of wool, milking of sheep, carrying out of all zoo veterinary measures, etc.
Of course, there are no limits to improvement, so the staff of the Department of Technology in Poultry, Pigs and Sheep breeding with the support of the dean's office and the administration has ambitious plans, namely - to open a summer training park for poultry and ornamental birds, a playground with «toy» structures for sheep and goats. The purpose of such a site is primarily training, as well as aesthetic pleasure for students and staff of the best university - NULES of Ukraine.
The life credo of the staff of the Department of Technologies in Poultry, Pig and Sheep Breeding of the Faculty of Livestock Raising and Water Bioresources - to train a real specialist, a patriot of the native country is not only performed, but also in difficult pandemic conditions, even better!!! So, let's emphasize: «There will be lard, there will be bread - vivat to the glorious National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine!»
