Topic of the doctoral dissertation: "Functionally stylistic dynamics of vocabulary in Ukrainian periodicals of the beginning of the 21st century."

Area of scientific interest is lexical-semantic and functional-stylistic processes in language, in particular in the language of printed mass media.

The author of more than 150 scientific and educational-methodological works, (5 of them are in the Web of Science scientometric database and a monograph in a publishing house of a country of the European Union).
Navalna M.I. works on development and improvement of scientific and methodical support of courses. She has repeatedly prepared participants and winners of All-Ukrainian contests of scientific student works, has repeatedly been a member of the jury of these contests in the specialties: "Publishing and editing" (Ukrainian Academy of Printing (Lviv), 2013, 2015, 2016) and " Social Communications" (Mariupol State University (Mariupol), 2016, 2017). She was a member of the jury of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in the Ukrainian language (Mykhailo Kotsyubynskyi Pedagogical University of Vinnytsia (Vinnytsia), 2017, 2018, 2019).
Navalna M.I. reviews scientific and teaching-methodical manuals, supervises scientific works of the National Academy of Sciences and student scientific projects. She has been repeatedly awarded the honors of the university and the regional department of education for the preparation of winners of scientific works competitions. Navalna M.I. is a member of the editorial board of the magazine "Ukrainian Language", deputy editor-in-chief of "Psycholinguistics". Reviewer of articles of the foreign publication "Sosiak sciences bulletin" ("Bulletin of social sciences") (Latvia, Daugavpils).

Topic of the Doctor’s thesis: "Semantic and formal-grammatical structure of sentences with spatial extenders", on specialty 10.01.01 – Ukrainian Literature.

Area of scientific interests – functional grammar, cognitive linguistics, journalistic and political discourse, artistic and epistolary heritage of Oles Honchar.

In the research work of Professor Stepanenko M.I. more than 1,700 works: individual monographs – 15, collective monographs – 8, dictionaries – 5, manuals, textbooks – 9, encyclopedias, handbooks – 12, bibliographic publications – 3, epistolary – 3.
Professor M.I. Stepanenko created a scientific grammar school, trained 9 candidates and 1 doctor of philological sciences.

Prof. V.D. Shynkaruk has been actively working on the problems of functional and category grammar, supervising the dissertations of postgraduate students, advising the seekers working for the Doctor's degree. Under his supervision 11 PhD theses have been defended. Delivers theoretical courses, teaches Contemporary Ukrainian literary language, Latin.

Passed his internship at the University of Vienna (Austria, 2005), the Bologna University (Italy, 2006), Humboldt University of Berlin (Germany, 2008).

Topic of doctoral dissertation: "Language stereotyping of sensory perception in Ukrainian linguistic culture", specialty 10.02.01 - Ukrainian language.

Area of scientific interests – linguistic and cultural studies, ethnolinguistics, cognitive linguistics, language stereotyping, stylistics and language culture.

In the research work Semashko T.F. more than 120 scientific works, in particular, 3 monographs ("Language stereotypes with a sensory component in Ukrainian linguistic culture", "Peculiarities of semantics and the functioning of colorative words in Ukrainian phraseology", "The world of Ukrainian color names: mentality in phraseology"); 3 educational and methodological manuals ("Ukrainian vocabulary", "Business Ukrainian language", "Practical stylistics of the Ukrainian language"); more than 100 publications printed in professional publications of Ukraine and abroad.

Journalist and TV presenter, People's Artist of Ukraine, academician of the Television Academy of Ukraine, member of the Film Academy of Ukraine.

She worked as a presenter on the Republican Television of CJSC "New Channel", CJSC "MMC-STB", a senior journalist of the journalism department of the editorial office of public projects, maintenance of public and political programs of the National Television Company of Ukraine.

She was awarded the "Teletriumph" award, a special award from the nationwide "Person of the Year" program, the All-Ukrainian award "Woman of the 3rd Millennium", honorary diplomas of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. Awarded the Order of Princess Olga, III degree.

Area of scientific interests: constitutional and legal provision of information activity; information security of a person, society, state; information operations and information wars; legislative regulation and legal provision of the constitutional obligation of the state and the entire Ukrainian people (Article 17 of the Constitution of Ukraine) to protect the informational sovereignty of Ukraine, etc.
Author of three monographs and two co-authored monographs and more than 60 scientific publications. The author of 72 draft legislative acts on the regulation of the information sphere, 37 of which were adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and are current Laws of Ukraine.

Member of Parliament of Ukraine for two convocations, head of the parliamentary faction in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the second convocation, member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in 1994–2002 and Chairman of the Subcommittee on Demographic Issues of PACE; Chairman of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Freedom of Speech and Information, Chairman of the State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine in 2002-2006.

Topic of the Candidate’s thesis: «Borrowings from the classical languages in scientific terminology of the modern European languages (based on the legal and economic terms of Russian, Ukrainian, German, French, English)» in specialty 10.02.15 – General Linguistics.

Area of scientific interests – problems of linguistic didactics, professionally oriented teaching and learning Latin in non-philological high schools, problems of interpreting a literary text, theory of shaping a modern scientific picture of the world.

Author of more than 130 scientific and training-methodical works, including 2 monographs ("Greek and Latin languages as a source of modern scientific terminology", 2014; "Linguistic aspects of scientific communication in synchrony and diachrony", 2015), more than 20 textbooks on Latin ( published individually as well as with co-authors), 5 of them with the stamp of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine as a base for training specialists in different areas of knowledge; co-author of 4-languge dictionary of veterinary-medical terms (with the stamp of the Ministry of Education of Ukraine); author of 5 patents.
