NULES of Ukraine is included to the international agreement on cooperation and functioning of PhD programs in the sphere of genetics and plant biotechnology

     Biotechnology is a meaningful and promising factor of world production development. In this context, accession of NULES of Ukraine to international agreement on cooperation and functioning of PhD programs in genetics and plant biotechnology is gaining relevance and priority. This includes the implementation of important programs for research, education and training activities.

     International network, which for the first time includes NULES of Ukraine, brings together leading national institutions in the countries such as Italy, Spain, Turkey (Politecnico delle Marche - Ancona, Bari, Catania, Napoli Federico II, Padova, Perugia, Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Torino , Tuscia — Viterbo, Basilicata, Insubria, Varese, Valencia, Spain, Miguel Hernández, Elche, Spain, Bogazici, Turkey). The creation of such a consortium enables the development of national science and establishment of international partnerships.

     On an ongoing basis, among network participants there is prolonged joint work, aimed at training doctoral students, as well as a comprehensive integration of scientific interests, which can be further strengthened by enlargement and activity internationalization. Integration of existing scientific knowledge in the field of plant science is a key condition for the creation of national inter-university network for studying genetics and biotechnology. Students shall also have the opportunity to work in a stimulating cultural environment, where they will acquire deep knowledge for the development of their fundamental research and applied projects.
