Master's educational program in Administrative Management of the Faculty of Agricultural Management of NUBiP of Ukraine was successfully re-accredited by ACQUIN
In the context of Ukraine's integration into the global educational space, every Ukrainian university must provide high-quality services that meet international standards.
In 2016, Master's educational program in Administrative Management of the Faculty of Agricultural Management of NUBiP of Ukraine received international accreditation by Accreditation, Certification and Quality Assurance Institute (ACQUIN, Germany). The Akkrediterungs-, Certifizierungs- und Qualitätssicherungs-Institut (Accreditation, Certification and Quality Assurance Institute) (ACQUIN) is a school accreditation system founded in 2001 as a consequence of the European Bologna process. It is also a member of the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR). This accreditation confirms the correspondence of the curriculum to similar programs in Europe, verifies high quality of teaching at NUBiP of Ukraine and imparts the students with the opportunity to receive double degree diplomas of NUBiP of Ukraine and Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences (Germany).
On September 21, 2022, the international re-accreditation of the Master's educational program in Administrative Management by ACQUIN Accreditation, Certification and Quality Assurance Institute (Germany) took place online.
Together with the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, 8 partner universities from Ukraine, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan underwent re-accreditation.
NUBiP of Ukraine was represented by Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work, International Activity and Development, Professor Vadym Tkachuk; Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Management Anatoliy Ostapchuk; guarantor of the master’s program in Administrative Management Olena Kovtun; Head of the Department of Administrative Management and Foreign Economic Activity, Professor Vitaliy Lutsyak; coordinator of the cooperation of the Faculty of Agricultural Management and Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences Associate Professor of the Department of Administrative Management and Foreign Economic Activity Nataliya Kovalenko, as well as students of the master's program in Administrative Management, Maksym Hopka and Dmytro Pylypenko.
The international accreditation was preceded by the preparation of the Self-Assessment Report in accordance with the order of the Rector of NUBiP of Ukraine, Stanislav Nikolayenko, of July 8, 2022 No. 448. The process was conducted exclusively in English and defined by the National Agency for Quality Assurance of Higher Education (NAZYAVO). The number of international experts who were invited to the accreditation from different countries was impressive. During the final session, universities participating in the international accreditation received recommendations from ACQUIN experts for improvement of the educational programs.
For reference. Since 2002, the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine has been cooperating with Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences (Germany) on the implementation of the joint master's educational program in Administrative Management (Specialty 073 Management). The program’s curriculum is focused on solving the problems and tasks of Ukrainian agriculture using the experience of economic development of the countries of Western Europe, as well as the latest technologies in education.
The goal of the master's educational program in Administrative Management is to train a new generation of managers who will be able to comprehensively solve complex managerial and economic tasks, create successful business development strategies, form a team of professionals and effectively use modern business technologies, taking into account theoretical, practical and analytical approaches.
For more than 20 years of joint work, over 500 specialists were trained in accordance with this master’s program and over 70 graduates received double degree diplomas, studying in Ukraine and Germany simultaneously.
