The traditional participation of N. M. Vdovenko in discussions on 21st-century management issues considering global challenges

  On May 16, 2024, Dr. Nataliia Vdovenko, Professor and Head of the Department of Global Economics at NULES of Ukraine, traditionally presented at the plenary session of the VIII International Scientific and Practical Conference "21st Century Management: Globalization Challenges" with the results of the department's scientific research. Additionally, the conference saw online participation from the department's Ph.D. students Oleksandr Shevel, doctoral candidate and executor of a state-funded project Dmytro Hrabovskyi, and members of the scientific club "Globalization and European Integration." The club members also presented their research and actively engaged in scientific discussions. Their works covered various aspects of global and international economics and public regulation, demonstrating a high level of preparation and an innovative approach.

  An important prerequisite for successfully addressing modern societal challenges is the further professionalization of managerial personnel, which is a crucial component of training in forming the competencies of both economists and managers. This plays a key role in ensuring the effective development of society, as professional managers and economists are capable of efficiently overseeing socio-economic processes and ensuring the sustainable development of national economic sectors.
  The relevance of these issues was discussed at the Poltava State Agrarian University, in accordance with the plan of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, where leading scholars and practitioners from around the world gathered. The conference brought together top scientists and practitioners to discuss strategies and approaches necessary for training managerial personnel capable of effectively managing socio-economic processes amidst globalization challenges. The conference involved leading experts and scientists from Ukraine, Poland, Latvia, Czech Republic, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria, Macedonia, as well as representatives of government authorities and local self-governance at various management levels. Over 150 individuals participated in the conference, with Ukraine represented by participants from 15 regions and 49 higher education institutions. The practical nature of the conference was confirmed by the participation of managers and specialists at various levels of organizational and enterprise management from different regions of Ukraine.
  Dr. Nataliya Vdovenko, Professor and Head of the Department of Global Economics, began her presentation on the topic "Approaches to Improving the Process of Forming Reliable Information on Agricultural Production" by expressing special gratitude to the conference organizers for providing the opportunity for scientific discussions. During the conference, Dr. Vdovenko focused on the research work of her department, which sparked great interest among the attendees. Her presentation covered the main theses of the work, emphasizing the relevance and significance of scientific research in the context of contemporary globalization challenges.
  All presentations by the Ph.D. students were accompanied by lively discussions and debates, during which they demonstrated a high level of professionalism and expert knowledge. Oleksandr Shevel presented on the topic "Regulating the Supply Processes of Aquaculture Fish Seed to Overcome Food Security Challenges." They actively participated in discussions and debates, exchanging ideas and experiences with colleagues.
  We have preserved the memory of Irina Markina and continue her work in the development of science and education. Respect and gratitude were expressed for her scientific legacy, which inspires further research and allows all present to appreciate the significance and importance of her contributions.
  The conference provided the faculty and Ph.D. students of the department with the opportunity to expand their professional contacts and exchange experiences with leading scientists and practitioners. Researchers had the chance to discuss joint projects and opportunities for further collaboration. The presentations by the department members were highly praised for their depth and innovative approach. As a result of the conference, an electronic collection of the participants' presentations was published.
