 INTERNSHIP WITHIN THE INTERACT PROJECT OF THE POLISH ACADEMIC EXCHANGE AGENCY (NAWA)

Nataliia Rudyk-Leuska, head of the Hydrobiology and Ichthyology department of the Faculty of Livestock Raising and Water Bioresources, completed an internship under the NAWA program at the Department of Hydrobiology and Fisheries of the Wroclaw University of Natural Sciences.

At the same time, other scientific and pedagogical staff of NULES of Ukraine completed the internship: Gennadiy Tkach, Professor of the Department of Public Health and Nutrition (Faculty of Food Technologies and Quality Management of Agricultural Products), Valery Tsvilikhovskyi, Associate Professor of the Department of Biochemistry and Physiology of Animals named after Academician M.F. Gulyi (Faculty of Veterinary Medicine) and Roman Bokotko, Associate Professor of the Academician Volodymyr Kasyanenko Department of Animal Anatomy, Histology and Pathomorphology (Faculty of Veterinary Medicine).

The internship took place within the INTERACT project of the Polish Academic Exchange Agency (NAWA) at the Wroclaw University of Natural Sciences (Republic of Poland).

Nataliia Rudyk-Leuska completed an internship under the supervision of dr. hab. Monika Kovalka-Guralska at the Department of Hydrobiology and Fisheries of the Wroclaw University of Natural Sciences where the internship plan and tasks were discussed.

Monika Kovalka-Guralska introduced the department, laboratories and material support during the internship. Profile disciplines of programs for the first, the second and the third levels of higher education were discussed. Nataliia Rudyk-Leuska attended lectures, laboratory and practical sessions.

There were several trips to the "Shchodre" fish farm, where fish samples were taken for scientific work. A complete biological analysis of fish, morphometric indicators were determined, and fish organs and tissues were selected for histological and biochemical analysis.

Later, the sampled biological material was processed in scientific laboratories on modern devices.

Modern scientific literature was also extremely relevant during the internship. It was possible to compare the scientific research of other scientists and use it in the course of scientific research.

Doctor of Philosophy public official defense of Edita Voytas-Turalska was extremely interesting.

Nataliia Rudyk-Leuska took part in the XVII International Scientific Congress during her internship. The congress lasted for two days and held more than 300 participants from 9 countries.

The scientific internship at the Wroclaw University of Natural Sciences was extremely intensive, interesting, scientific and educational. N. Rudyk-Leuska received two certificates. A number of scientific directions for further scientific cooperation were discussed.
