Ph.D. programs for Chinese applicants

     On September 3, 2021, the 2021-2022 Ph.D. Program Online Briefing was held in the International Conference Hall of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine (NUBiP of Ukraine).

     The Ukrainian party was represented by the Head of the ERC for International Activities of NUBiP of Ukraine, Dr. Oleksandr Labenko. The Chinese party included consisited of Dr. Kevin Liu and Miss Elena Zheng from Shandong University of Technology, Zibo Vocational Institute, HeNanShengXianDaiGongChengYanJiuYuan from iTEP ShangDong China Examination Center, and the directors of international affairs from 7 educational institutions and universities in Tianjin, Shanghai, and Taiwan and 34 doctoral program applicants. In the 45-minute meeting, a total of 40 questions raised by the Chinese participants was answered.

    The Q&A process, mostly concerning the Ph.D. program beginning in November 2021, was very lively. The students asked questions about the Ph.D. program, the duration of studying abroad, the start date, how classes are held, the certification process after returning home, fees, accommodations and meals, etc. Every question was answered. After the meeting, the Chinese representatives thanked NUBiP teachers for answering all the questions and expressed hope that in the future such meetings would be held on a regular basis.

    As a prestigious European university facing the global epidemic, the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine puts safety of its international students as a top priority. At the same time, it is important to maintain excellent educational environment. At the end of the meeting, Dr. Oleksandr Labenko wholeheartedly welcomed all Chinese students to NUBiP of Ukraine in their mother tongue!
