Cooperation between NUBiP of Ukraine and Tianjin University of Commerce (the People's Republic of China) continues

    One of the zeals of international relations for NUBiP of Ukraine is expanding contacts with partner education establishments of the People's Republic of China. An online meeting with the counterparts from Tianjin University of Commerce was held on July 7, 2021.

    The meeting was organized to discuss the issues of cooperation in the field of international education, implementation of exchange projects for students and teachers, and presentation of the faculties and specialties of both universities.

    The video conference was organized with the assistance of Risen Center for International Cultural Exchange and center representatives, Kevin Liu and Elena Zheng.

    The Chinese party was represented by Head of the International Department Mr. Welsheng, Deputy Head of the International Department Huang Lepin, Head of the Institute of Biotechnology and Food Technology Liu Jianfu, and Deputy Head of the Institute of Biotechnology and Food Technology Guang Wenjiang.

    NUBiP of Ukraine was represented by the Dean of Faculty of Food Technology and Quality Control of Agricultural Products, Larysa Bal-Prilipko, and the Deputy Head of the ERI for International Activities, Volodymyr Afanasenko.

    During the meeting, the participants provided detailed information on the availability of academic programs taught in English, prospects for organizing international projects involving joint research, exchange of teachers and students, creating joint curricula with the possibility of obtaining double diplomas.
 

    Representatives of Tianjin University also thanked our students for participating in the student research paper competition.

    As a result, the parties formed a joint action plan for 2 years.
