Visit of the Canadian delegation to the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine

February 12, 2013 the Head of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, Academician, Dmytro O. Melnychuk, together with the heads of Education and Research Institutes of the university held a meeting with the Canadian delegation. The delegation consisted of representatives from four leading universities of Canada: President and Vice-Chancellor of Vancouver Island University, Dr. Ralph Nilsson, Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences of University of Manitoba, Dr. Michael Trevan, Head of University of Saskatchewan, Prof. William J. Brown, Head of the Ukrainian Center for Resources and Development of Grant MacEwan University, Dr. Roman Petryshyn. 

Issues discussed during the meeting included the following: conducting the exchange programs for students, master students and postgraduates; opportunities for joint research; exchange of materials,  information, and curricula; conducting conferences, seminars and workshops; staff exchange programs; exchange of  scientific and laboratory equipment; signing the agreement on further cooperation. 

The meeting was held in a warm, friendly atmosphere and laid the foundations for further cooperation between the universities.
