Staff conference at NUBiP of Ukraine

On the 18th of May, 2012, a staff conference was held at National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine. The main issues were: the administration annual report on university activities in 2011 and approval of the main objectives for 2012.
The conference was attended by the newly elected chairman of the university supervisory board, First Vice-Prime Minister of Ukraine, Valeriy Ivanovich Khoroshkovsky. In his speech he expressed his favourable impressions of the scientific potential of the academic staff and the results achieved. Valeriy Khoroshkovsky highlighted the importance of collaboration between scientists and the government for further progress and prosperity of the country.
Rector of NUBiP, Academician, Dmytro O. Melnychuk reported on the activities of the university in 2011 and focused on the priorities for improvements. Researchers of NUBiP also informed the staff of their achievements in the previous year.
Furthermore, a representative of TUV Rheinland awarded a Certificate of quality management system in education and research in accordance with the standard ISO9001: 2008. TUV Rheinland is well-recognized among world market leaders as a company that carries out independent expertise on quality management in different institutions and companies.
The participants approved the results achieved by the administration in 2011 and the areas for further development of the university.
The remuneration system and the plan of action for administration and university trade unions were also approved and settled in accordance with the collective agreement.
