Master students successfully defended double degree diplomas in energetics at Warsaw University of Life Sciences
Master students of the full-time form of the education and training program of the Education and Research Institute of Energetics, Automation and Energy Efficiency, majoring in 141 “Electric power, electric technology and electromechanics” and studying under the double degree program with the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, started certification process.
On December 11, international examination commission on master theses defence started its work at the Education and Research Institute of Energetics, Automation and Energy Efficiency. The commission was headed by Professor Volodymyr V. Kozyrsky and consisted of Dean of the Faculty of Production Engineering of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, Nurek Tomasz; Doctor of Technical Sciences, Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics and Electrotechnology, Andrii V. Zhyltsov; Associate Professor of I.I. Martynenko Department of Automation and Robotic Systems, Volodymyr M. Reshetyuk; Professor, Head of the Department of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, Anzhei Hohovskiy; Professor of the Department of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, Pavel Obstavski; Professor of the Department of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, Schiman Glowacki.
Two master students successfully defended their theses. Olexander Obukhivskyy’s topic was “Use of induction generators as a heat source in biomass drying technology”. Sofia Bidnenko’s topic was “Research of the 4th generation Venlo greenhouse as an object of control and improvement of plant lighting during productive periods”.
The defense was held in Polish and lasted for almost two hours. Both students demonstrated excellent knowledge of the specialty and subjects of the theses. As a result, the commission unanimously granted Olexander and Sofia qualification degree of electrical engineers in specialty 141 “Electric power, electric technology and electromechanics”.
The students will receive double degree diplomas - one of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine and one of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences.
